"Hiya! I'm Captain Onigiri Usopp! Ohh, and who might you be?"

"I am Meshidaru-san!"

Clang! "STOP PLAYING WITH YOUR FOOD! If you're that bored, then go wash dishes!"

Luffy and Usopp sulked for a moment, as Sanji stalked back over to the counter to finish making their bento before they landed on the western bank of the Sandora river. Ace grinned in amusement, and sipped his tea. "Want me to help with anything?"

"No, you're a guest on this ship." Sanji grinned, turning away from the counter. "Just sit back and take it ea- OH MY GOD!"

Sanji backpedaled away from the counter so fast that he tripped over the table, and whatever it was that scared him went flying, squirming and twitching in the air.

Acting on reflex, Ace caught it as it fell with a fireball, burning it to a crisp. Sanji, flat against the opposite wall, watched it fall to the floor with horrified eyes. Ace leaned over the table to look at it, but it was charred beyond all recognition.

"What happened?!" The door burst open suddenly, with Vivi in the doorway. her eyes immediately fell to the charred whatever-it-was, which, now Ace looked at it, had eight spindly legs.

"Sanji screamed like a girl." Luffy said. Usopp snickered.

"What the hell is that thing?!" Sanji stared at it, slowly inching along the wall to the door.

"Um... That was a camel spider. They're the second largest species of arachnid in Alabasta."

"SECOND largest?! You mean there's ones bigger than that?!"

"Yes. The Elephant spider, it's about the size of Merry, but its too big to bite a human. It's mandibles are about the size of a person."

Sanji's face turned green. He scurried quickly to the door, and ducked out of it.

"I am not going anywhere near that kitchen until somebody declares it spider free."

"...You don't like bugs, huh?" Ace lifted an eyebrow, picking the charred arachnid up with his thumb and forefinger.

All Sanji gave was a harsh shake of the head, and he disappeared.

Snickering, Ace deposited the smoldering corpse in the garbage can. Since Sanji was so terrified of spiders, Ace figured he should finish making the bento. After all, he didn't even have to break his concentration if Luffy tried to sneak anything- which he inevitably would- all he had to do was send a fireball at the kid's head, and he would lay off.

Man. Luffy really hit the jackpot with this bunch.

Just having a little fun with Sanji the arachnophobe. I feel like the ending is kinda weak, though.

(By the way, Camel Spiders are real. Just ask Wikipedia. }:D Mwahahaha. )
