Ness kicked at the dirt under his foot. he took his hat off and his hand wandered aimlessly through his hair. He looked over at Jeff and wondered if he had taken this as hard as he did. Him and Jeff had been friends for years, but never had such few words torn through them like that.

just hours ago Ness had taken Jeff to his house, to spill the big news to his mom. Him and Jeff were in love and planned on getting married...but she didn't take to it like they thought she would. she hated it. she even threatened to disown Ness--of course he was willing to take the risk. now him and Jeff were off. where? Jeff said he needed to talk to his father about this. Ness asked him if that was the best course of action, but Jeff didn't answer.

twenty minutes later, they were standing in front of Dr. Andonuts' lab. Jeff stared at the door for what Ness could have sworn was longer than his own short attention span could handle. "we're here together, right?" Ness said gently, as he swiftly reached over and pushed the door open, revealing the white spacious lab with...sciencey stuff everywhere. Dr. Andonuts greeted them from across the lab almost immediately, and offered them some donuts, but they both declined. "hey, dad?" Jeff timidly asked, glancing at Ness for just a moment. the scientist looked up from the paper he was holding and asked jeff what the problem was, which got some very suspicious looks from both boys. Ness scartched the back of his neck, fearing the rejection they recieved from his mom. but he spoke up anyway. "well actually we wanted to tell you something.." but he stopped. Jeff sighed. he knew he'd start it, he always starts but never finishes. Jeff put on a brave face and stated it bluntly. "Ness and I are getting married."

Jeff's father sipped from his coffee and said nothing until the tension got too strong. "so, what's our course of action, boys? tell everyone first or surprise them?" Jeff and his lover almost broke into a fit of joy and tears when they heard that. "you don't hate us?" "you like the idea!?" "you're not joking, are you?" Dr. Andonuts set his cup on the counter and looked at his son. "Jeff, I've been waiting to hear you say that for a long time." he put his hands on Jeff and Ness's shoulders, smiling at them both.

almost two hours later Jeff and Nesshad stated their vows and were married, right in winters. Jeff exclaimed after that that everything was perfect. yet Ness gave him such a face he thought something was terribly wrong, but he didn't know what to say when Ness spoke. "but we're not a family yet. what about a baby?"

after much talk and planning, Dr. Andonuts came up with a serum that could make a male pregnant...he called it, "Oregnant" for some odd reason. Jeff and Ness stared at each other and thought about who would bear their child...

at dusk the newly weds were off to new lands. a new home. a new life. one to share with the other. Jeff made a face, and Ness caught on almost immediately. "what's wrong, Jeffery?" frowning at his full name, Jeff said "you best get us a nice big house.". Ness smiled and chirped "oh course!" flailing his arms in the air. Jeff smirked. "and you better give me eveything I'm craving for the next twelve months." he placed his hand on his stomach, half-lidding his eyes.

"of course" Ness said gently as he stole a kiss from his sweet Jeff.
