Author's Note: I hope you like this. I really haven't been able to get over Graham's death and I don't think I ever will.

She keeps it in the back of her closet. She keeps it in the very back of her closet. She keeps it in a box that no one but her knows about.

It's at the bottom of the box and covered by other things like a yearbook, a teddybear, a baseball trophy, and she doesn't take it out... usually.

But she did today because it's been exactly one year since Graham's death.

One whole year without him.

It's been one whole year since he has worn this leather jacket she now holds in her hands.

The leather is soft and gives way beneath her fingers as she slowly removes it from the box.

She handles it with great care as she lays it in her lap.

It's dark just like him. It matched his hair and his gorgeous eyes.

Emma runs her hands over the smoothness of the leather.

She can almost feel his hands on her. They were rough but he was always gentle with her.

"Graham..." She whispers as a tear falls onto the jacket.

Emma wipes at her cheeks furiously but more tears come behind it.

His jacket was just... so him.

She can hardly stand to look at it. It brings too many memories to her mind of him wearing it.

He always looked so good in it. But she never told him that.

She wishes she had.

Emma wishes she had said a lot of things to Graham before his death.

She hopes he knew how she felt about him. Even though, truth be told, she doesn't know what she felt for him but it was something.

It was real.

It was true.

That's why she had ignored it. It scared her too much. It had been so strong.

Emma brings the jacket up to her nose and inhales the scent.

It smells like the forest. It smells like the trees and rivers and images flash before her eyes.

Graham in the forest in his leather jacket.

Graham in the station in his leather jacket.

Graham at Granny's in his leather jacket.

Emma opens her eyes and looks at the jacket again.

She swings the jacket around her shoulders and slips it on so the smell is all around her.

The leather jacket felt comfortable. It was big and it made her feel warm and protected.

It made her feel like he made her feel.

It was like coming home.

Emma hopes he knew that he made her feel that way.

She hopes he knows that a day never went by without thought of him.

She knows that they will see each other again.

She knows because true love is magical and death can not stop true love.

It can only delay it.

So she will wait to see him again... in his leather jacket.
