Okay so this is just a small something that wouldn't let be so I had to get it out. I just thought, what else would knock sense into Sam other than the Impala... this is what I thought. Enjoy and feel free to Review.

Dean/Cas in here so if you don't like don't read, I don't own Supernatural otherwise season 7 would be VERY different...

Dean walked up to Lucifer who was posing as his brother. He had the perfect plan to snap him back into being Sam again. It would probably kill Dean later, there wasn't even a guarantee that it would work. It was worth a shot though, so he had to try. Castiel was there beside him, as always, ready to fight with Dean to any end.

"Sammy?"

Lucifer snorted at him, "You know he's not here anymore. Is it even worth trying?"

Dean glared at the ex-angel inside his little brother, "When it comes to family, it's always worth it to try, you son of a bitch."

"No need to get snippy, Dean. Just saying it how it is."

"Yeah, well shut up, what I have to say is for Sammy." Dean took a steadying breath, "Sammy, I did it. I did what you told me to…"

Lucifer tilted his head to the side in confusion, but Dean hoped that he could see Sammy behind those eyes. Dean grit his teeth, and against everything he stood for with chick flick moments and pushing his pride aside, he reached out his hand and grasped that of Castiel's who's face gave nothing away save for the softening of the hard look in his eyes.

Lucifer raised an eyebrow, "What are-" but he didn't finish his sentence because he launched himself at Dean and Castiel. Castiel took a step in front of Dean in order to protect him but it didn't matter because both of them were tackled into a hug by the hulking moose of Sam's body.

"I knew you could do it!" was exclaimed in a voice that wasn't Lucifer's.

"Sammy?" Dean asked perplexed. Castiel looked mildly uncomfortable and confused.

"Dean, yeah it's me." Sam stepped back and held a hand on each of their shoulders with a smile on his face, "I knew you could do it. I knew it. You had to put your pride up your ass at some point, and Cas, you and him?"

Castiel's ears turned red and he coughed turning his head away the pinnacle of embarrassment before he looked back at Sam, "I am in a- uh- romantic relationship with your brother, if that is what you were asking…."

Sam jumped up and down a couple of times excited, "I knew it. I knew it! I just knew it! There was no way you two didn't have a thing for each other!"

Castiel met Sam's eyes and saw that he was smiling, "I- I am-" Sam blinked a couple times, the control he had on his body slipping, "I am SO happy for you two."

Sam grappled with his pockets and pulled out the rings of the horsemen. Sam summoned up the gates and stood on the edge.

"Grow old together, got it?" Sam said, and he gave each of them a hard look, which in Deans opinion should have been difficult while smiling, before Sam jumped into the pit.

The pit closed up, Castiel and Dean were left alone.

"There's no way to get him out of there, is there Cas?" Dean's said, more of a statement than a question still holding onto Castiel's hand

Cas shook his head lightly, staring at the spot where Sam gave his blessing and disappeared forever a sadness gripping him and he squeezed Dean's hand.

It's a lot shorter than what I'm used to writing but there you go.
