I saw that Winter Moon so clear

As clear as dearest day divine

Bright beams of splendour rendered here

In this great frozen land of mine

What with my dreams I dream her still

That Winter Moon, my whispered chill

Concealed within that modest soul

The icy fears, such painful curse

O Lunar tides of ice and cold

And blizzards pouring out of verse

Let free, pale goddess! Flee away!

Let go those stars that held thee sway!

But when your orbit's got you far

Afar from Gaea's ill-bound chains

And gone from thy twin Winter Star

Free yourself from earth's cruel restrains

O' glorious Winter Moon, White Dove

Fly high and by your light above

Beware the storms that raise

Cold fear from out the cold ground

But brighter still the Lunar Phase

Of Warmth, and Love, and Snow Angels crowned.

Let free, pale goddess! Flee away!

Let it go and let it snow!

Break forth the shining light of day!

Forever now, the world will know!
