Sayaka had been hard and long at work that day, so when she arrived home late at night, she wanted nothing more than to sleep. As she arrived at her apartment, her girlfriend was already there, and finishing off an apple with something baking in the oven. Kyouko loved apples, and hated to waste food. But there was something, someone, much closer to her heart than even food.

Sayaka gave off a tired smile as she saw the redhead. "G'night, Kyouko-chan. I'm going to head to bed."

"Hang on, I'll come with you."

"But aren't you–?" began Sayaka.

"It's fine," Kyouko responded getting up and turning off the oven, "There? See? Now I can join you."

Sayaka could not get over the gesture. Kyouko willing to ruin and throw away food for her sake, to keep her company and be with her, was not something trivial.

Kyouko walked over to Sayaka and held her hand with one of hers, before they walked over to the bedroom.

Kyouko began stripping off her day clothes as soon as they were alone in the bedroom, then climbing under the covers. Sayaka soon wore nothing either, and Kyouko rubbed the area where she would lay with her hand, smiling at the other. Sayaka climbed in with her girlfriend, and Kyouko pulled her close, wrapping her arms around the others waist.

Sayaka let out a quiet giggle before turning around to face the other, and wrapped her arms around the other, snuggling into her bosom.

Kyouko brushed her fingers through the others hair, smiling as she kissed the top of the other's head. "You have a break coming up right?" she asked.

"Mm…we're behind schedule so might have to work on the weekend too." mumbled Sayaka enjoying Kyouko's presence.

"Oh." Kyouko paused a moment, "Then come home earlier since it's your day off anyway. I have surprise for you."

Sayaka looked up from her girlfriend's bare breasts to meet her eyes. "You have a surprise? For me."

"Uh-huh, so be sure to leave at a reasonable hour and not overstrain yourself."

Sayaka smiled as she buried her face into Kyouko's chest, her face tinted with a faint pink. "Thank you."

Kyouko kept vigil watch over Sayaka, until well after she slipped from cuddling into sleeping in her arms.
