I've had this stuck in my head since I heard it and I just had to write something for it. The poem is mean to be sort of semi-awful (this is Gwaine after all ;] )
Disclaimer: I don't own, you don't sue.

It was cheeks tight and blushing red,
That caught the eye of bold Gwaine.
Many had sought, the knight to tame,
Earning not his heart, but at least his bed.
There she sat, on the shopkeepers table,
Catching the eye of many,
Including the Fish Monger, Lenny.
But with fervor, Gwaine felt a stirring in his navel.
With the fishmonger he did grapple.
And then dear Gwaine,
Our brave knight was slain.
And all for the love of an apple.
The knight examined the fruits of his hard word with pride. He pinned it to his wall, standing back to (again) look over his work with pride. His happy moment was quickly interrupted by the Great Bell chiming the hour and he let off a curse. He was late. Grabbing his gear in a flurry he ran for the door, pausing and giving the parchment one last glance before muttering, "The Stuff. Of. Legends."

Anyway, over on Deviant Art, they have this whole thing about Gwapple (Gwaine + Apple) and I just couldn't help myself but to play along hehehe.
