The rain falls like stones upon her face, burning her cheeks with stabbing cold. The icy wind washes over her, singing her lullaby s of sadness and despair. She hears his voice, but knows that its not but the wind colliding with her loneliness. But she still hears it and she echoes the voice as loud as she can.
"RON!"
But it is drowned out by the wind and thunder.
"Ron..."
She drops to her knees and stares up at the black, starless sky, the watery stones still slapping against her bare skin. Her cloths were soaked and her body, freezing. But still she sits there, to loyal to move.
She pulled the letter from her pocket. Black inc that once showed his handwriting was now smeared and washed away, but she knew what it said;

Hermione,
meat me outside the forbidden forest.
ill take you away from this hell.
runaway with me.
love,
Ron

Hermione crumpled up her letter and threw it to the wind. She closed her eyes. He materialized in her mind. When she saw him smile, the tears rolled down her face. No one would have seen her pitiful tears against the millions of rain drops, but in her mind they were just as cold and painful.
Just as Hermione was about to give up, there he was. Rain drenched him as it did her. Hermione ran to Ron and through herself into his arms, smiling. But something was wrong.
He didn't touch her. His hands hung at his sides. Hermione tilted her head back to kiss him but he pushed her back so hard, she fell to the wet grass. A stone hit her chest, but this one was real. Another large rock was in Ron's hand.
"You whore," he yelled through the rain, making suer she could here him. "How could you do this to me, you bitch?!" The rock left his hand and hit her arm.
"I'm sorry!"
"No your not!... Not yet!" he through another stone. But it missed and he yelled out in frustration. "I loved you! How could you do this to me?! I loved you!"
"Baby, please! I love you! I'm so sorry!" she crawled on her hands and knees to his legs and laid her head on his feet. "I'll do anything to make up for it!"
"Oh, don't worry." Ron kicked her back. "Your about to!"
"Ron, please! I'll do anything!"
"Yeah?! Hold still!"
"Please, don't! I love you!"
"Yeah?! Did you love him?! Did you think of me wall he had you on your back?! Or were you saying the same thing to him you were saying to me?! 'Oh, Harry, please! Oh, baby! I love you!' Except you begged him NOT to stop!"
"Ron, please! I didn't want to! He made me, I told you that! I love you! I would never-"
"Harry, Hermione? My best friend?! Harry Potter?! He didn't force you!" Ron through another stone and hit Hermione in the stomach. "Did you like it?! Was he better then me?! Was it worth it?!"
"Baby, I-"
"Shut up! I'm not your baby! I'm just your toy, aren't I?!"
"No!"
Ron threw his next rock as hard as he could and hit her in the head. She screamed as blood pored out.
"You said you loved me," She screamed. "You said you'd merry me! That we would be together for ever!"
"I don't share, bitch! Especially with my best friend!"
He through his last stone and hit her in the head once more. With a sickening crack, her skull split open. "You want to make it better?! just wait!"
Hermione became light headed and sleepy. "It hurts," Hermione said just loud enough for Ron to hear.
"I know," he said just as loud. "It will stop soon. Just relax."
She nodded and closed her eyes. She was gone.
"You know, she was telling the truth," Harry said, stepping out of the shadows.
"Yeah, I know," Ron replied. "now she can't tell anyone."
Harry smiled and gave him a loving slap on the back. "You're a good friend."
