Disclaimer: None of the characters belong to me. It was early morning; Nav was standing alone on the beach. She curled her toes into the smooth white sand and looked up at the clear blue sky, not a cloud was in sight.

The crash of the waves echoed into the silence leaving a soothing sound as they were pulled back in. She felt peaceful here and safe as though nothing could hurt her.
She could not remember how she got here , but she was happy now, she never wanted to leave. Looking at the water sent a shiver down her back, something had happened but she did not want to remember.
"Hey there pretty girl."
She turned around startled by the noise, a smile spread over her face and the blue of her eyes appeared to brighten. She ran to the voice, sand flicking up from her feet, her brown hair was tumbling down her back, flowing in the wind.
She jumped into ET's arms with a squeal of delight. He spun her around and held her in a hug, she hoped he would never let go. Nav put her hand through his blonde curls and the other around his neck.
"I've missed you." she said, she looked at his face, trying so hard to remember everything she could see. Never wanting to forget again.
"I've missed you to, but its ok im here now."
Her eyes began to fill with tears as she started to think of what it would be like when he was gone again. Furiously she blinked them away. Not wanting to ruin the time they had together.
ET took her hand and led her down 'towards the blue water.
"You look beautiful Nikki" he said and splashed water at her, laughing at her reaction.
"Hey!" she splashed him back and ran down the beach and further into the water, he followed her running in long strides catching up to Nav with ease. He put one arm on her back and the other behind her knees, scooping her up and carrying her deeper into the water.
She struggled and screamed playfully, eventually being put in the water. "Josh, i love you." he looked slightly stunned and then reached for the ring that hung around her neck. "I love you to Nikki and I am so, so sorry. I didn't want to leave you."
He reached down, slowly sweeping her hair away from her eyes his hand grazing her cheek and moving behind her neck. She breathed in slowly, her eyes looking into his they leaned closer to each other, painfully slowly. Just as their lips were nearly touching ET began to fade, Nav could no longer feel his hand on her neck. Tears were falling down her face rapidly now.
"Josh? Josh! Don't leave me! Not again! Josh!" she screamed.
She reached for him only to find empty air. She felt empty now; there was a hole in her that would never close. She blinked and when her eyes were shut she saw ET's dead body floating in the water, and the pain that she had forgotten came back in a flood.
She could no longer block the pain or the emptiness and could no longer see ET. He was dead and she was now incomplete.
But she would never forget, ever.
