His dull gray eyes looked down on the blonde that peacefully slept beside him. Her long tresses shined brightly against the Saturday moonlight, her skin glowing lumiously. His hand ran smoothly at the crook of her waist, her back to him. He left trails of soft kisses along her back as he placed her long hair to the side, sighing as the sound of the clock played its part. He didn't want to leave her, no he didn't. But he knew that this would be the last night he would be able to see this face of her's. After the war, they'll go their separate ways. After the war, she'll find someone who will be able to treat her the way a queen should be treated. She'll find someone who can love her for who she truly is, love her completely and proudly. When that time comes, he hopes that she's forgotten the face she knew to be Draco Malfoy, the face that always made everything okay by the end of the day. And when that day comes, Draco hopes as well that Luna Lovegood will no longer send shivers down his spine.

The minutes felt like years as he held her close. Once he walked away, there wasn't any turning back. He couldn't let The Dark Lord down. The ink etched to his arm was a proof of his loyalty, a sign of an unbreakable bond.

She stirred on her sleep, turning to face Draco and burrying her head deep in his chest. The scent of vanilla engulfed her, a scent he will truly forever cherish and remember. Running his hands through her long waves, he thought of how it seemed as if it was only yesterday when she found him on that forsakened day when he cried in Myrtle's bathroom. He didn't know whether to curse that day or to thank the heavens for it. Was meeting her a good thing? Was it bad? He wished he could have another day to tell her all the things he hid from her, all the emotions she made him feel.

"You have no idea how in love I've fallen for you Luna." He whispered as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead. "You ahve no idea how much I'm willing to go through for you."

He couldn't like to himself. He was willing to do everything just for her to be happy and safe. So when his father threaten to take everything away from her, he knew he has fallen for the trap. He couldn't imagine Luna without everything she cared for. Family, pride, beauty, innocence ... He couldn't let his father take all of those away.

He took a deep breath and looked at Luna sincerely, her serene face sketched forever in his heart. They can take everything away from him but something that will always be with him is the image of this Ravenclaw beauty sleeping next to him. How those electric silver eyes pierced with every glance, how she looked at him with such love. Those smile, oh those questioning smile that he was willing to solve during his lifetime.

"I love you so."

He gathered himself and composed himself with strength. Had the circumstances been different he wouldn't have had to leave her. But no matter how they shook the world, upside and sideways, at the very end of the planet she was still Luna Lovegood and he was Draco Malfoy.

If the circumstances would have let them, they could have had it all. - ONESHOT! Hehe, pleae review and tell me what you think! :)
