Okay so I wrote this late last night after casualty, this is my interpretation of what their date would be like x

"You took your time"

"Well I'm here now"

"So your telling me it takes 20 minutes to get your coat"

"That's exactly what I'm saying! And anyway I'm here now let's go get changed and then it's off to the sushi bar."

"Raw fish, what's wrong with cooked."

"Nothing but it's our date night and I booked it so no moaning."

"Yes boss."

"Max! I'm not your boss."

"You'll always be my boss."

The pair got into Zoe's car and headed back to Max's house. After a quick change of clothing they got back into the car and headed into town.

"So this place have you been there before."

"Yes I have, it's lovely."

"I'll take your word for it."

The arrived at the restaurant and got out of the car.

"Madam" Max offered his hand to Zoe.

"Oh stop it."

They walked hand in hand towards the doors.

"Is it too late to go to the chippy."

"Max!"

"Okay okay."

"Come on you'll love it"

The entered the building and were shown to their seats. They ordered wine and picked out their sushi.

"So now that your no longer acting clinical lead does it mean you'll stay in bed longer."

"Well, you see that was just an excuse to get away from you."

"Rude. According to Dylan you're meant to add 'no offence'"

"Oh right. Well no offence."

"None taken. So does this mean we get to..."

"Max! We will see, to eat up and shut up."

The two began to eat the raw fish and drink their wine. They sat smiling between them no words needed to express their feelings. Once they had both finished Zoe paid the bill before Max had a chance to interfere.

Upon leaving the bar, they walked hand in hand back to the car. They stopped in font on the car and Max placed his hands around Zoe's waste and her hands found their way around his neck.

"Raw fish isn't all that bad, battered is still better."

"Trust you to go for the grease."

"Go for the grease? I do wonder sometimes."

"Wonder what."

Before either had another chance to speak Max had pulled Zoe closer and had attached his lips to hers. She pulled away. She kissed him on the lips once more before getting into the car. Max followed suit.

"So about your idea earlier. Is that option still available?"

"What the chippy?"

"Max. Seriously?"

"What?"

"You know what I'm talking about."

"Of course I do, your just too easy to wind up. Now drive, you've got to take me too bed."
