A Tangle Whisper Story
Chapter 1: Royal Welcome
It was a calm day in Sunset Heights. Everyone was out enjoying themselves and the clear skies above. One of them was the Guardian Angel herself, Whisper the Wolf. She was floating in the water of a local pool along with her wisp friends floating above her. "Such a nice day." She holds her cyan laser wisp in her hands resting it on her stomach. "Part of me wishes my friends were here."
All of a sudden, a loud crash could be heard in the distance. The wolf rushes out of the water grabbing her gear and making her way for towards the crash.
Whisper finds herself at the scene of a car crash. "Oh my." She looks over and sees someone still in the car.
The passenger was a bear trying to push the door open. "Help! I can't get out!" She looks around as fire was spreading around the vehicle.
The wolf runs over and hovers over the flames and approaches the car placing her hand on the glass. "Back up."
The bear nods her head as she backs away from the door nervous.
Whisper fires her pink spike wisp at the door cutting the hinges allowing it to open.
The bear climbs out and grabs onto her. "Thank you."
Whisper goes to hover only to find the flames have grown in size. She looks and sees the trail leading to the vehicles gas tank. "Get down." The wolf grabs the bear and ducks down protecting her from the imminent blast.
At that moment, a large gust of wind came down extinguishing the fire surrounding the girls.
The bear pokes her head up seeing their savior. "Hey, I know that girl. It's…"
Whipser turns to see who it was that saved them just now. "Tangle?"
Tangle stood before them in her royal outfit. She reaches her hand down to them. "It's been a while, Whisper."
The wolf smiles taking her good friend's hand standing up. "Thanks for the help."
"Not a problem. It's what I do."
The bear runs up and hugs the lemur smiling. "I knew you'd be back, Tangle."
Tangle smiles patting her head. "I've missed you too, Kia. Maybe you should stick to the bike."
"Maybe, but I just have so much to do and a bike can only do so much."
"That's fine."
Kia giggles. "I'll see you by the mineral museum sometime." She leaves.
Whisper smiles looking at the lemur. "How have things been with the Air Syndicate?"
Tangle places her hand on her shoulder. "It's not just the Air Syndicate. Blaze and I united our kingdoms together under both of our leadership."
"How so?"
The lemur whispers her answer to Whisper with a small giggle afterwards.
Whisper had a light blush in her cheeks. "Wow."
"I know. So, want to go hang out by the mineral museum? I hanven't seen Jewel. In over a year."
The wolf nods her head as she takes hold of Tangle's tail walking with her. Her wisps friend then come out and surround them both.
"Aww. I've missed you guys too. Wait until you hear about what Blaze and I have been up to this last month."
Whisper smiles as she continued on her way with Tangle glad to see her friend again for as much time as they can muster together.
