A/N: New story! I got such a huge writer's block on the other ones that I couldn't think of what to write next. God I hate it when that happens….any way HERE YA GO! Tell me what you think:
Creatures of night are my disciples. I am their leader, their lover, their protector….I am them. I call upon them when I am in need, and when I am not. Everywhere the moon rises, I am. I am the shadows that follow you in the dark, in places that you know very well you shouldn't be. Every whisper in the haunted, autumn wind that flows restlessly through your hair. Every howl of the coyote in the distance, crying to the moon for deliverance from the hatred of the world. I am aware of every single movement and sound that resides in my night. Every unforetold thing that happens in the shadows of day. I know it all, see it all, witness it all. I cannot speak, for I have been mute since birth; however, it doesn't matter. If you ever look into my eyes, they tell all.
As much as I see, I cannot act. For it does not harm me. Does not harm my existence. Does not harm those who obey me. Evil, it is. Seeing all the horror of the world, and yet not being able to stop it. Since the beginning of time, I was created and sentenced upon this curse. Why? I don't remember. I can't remember anything anymore. Just darkness. Just those who stand by my side. Never someone like me. Never someone under the wickedness of this dreadful and painful existence I must suffer through. Yes, there are others that do. Blood drinkers. Pale, beautiful beasts that walk among the day as if it were nothing. Those that lurk in the shadows with blood red eyes, pouncing upon the weak. None have ever me. But I've seen them, in all their wonder. Especially him. He the one who is quiet. Who listens with his mind, yet seems to never hear me. I've followed him since he changed. Since he died, and yet still lived. I'll always follow him through the night. He who is called Edward Cullen…
