Revenge was all he had left.
To fulfill a promise in the name of those that where taken from him and the ones that would not survive the night.
They had thought to accomplish what others had tried and failed.
Succeed in taking away the only shred of humanity he had left.
To hurt him in a way that would cut him to the core and to send a message that he was not above reproach that he was nothing but a mere nuisance in their eyes.
They thought to silence him after they told him of their plan. How each of his family would suffer for his meddling in their affairs. How he heard their screams then silence before he was left for dead.
They were wrong.
He rose from the brink of death to extract pain ten fold from those that were responsible for the pain and sorrow caused by their actions.
This is a vendetta that must be carried out to send a message to one and all not to mess with Jack O'Neill.
