"Watching you walk past me, smirking, thinking you're is better then everyone else. You insult anyone that comes near you. Defense mechanism. It's sad. Why did you have to go?
"I'll never get another moment to tell you. I'll never see your pale green eyes; the ones that make me melt, even on their coldest day. You had a beautiful soul... You always had.
"Dear Seifer, I loved every minute we spent together. Every minute you teased me and tried to make me cry. This, this was the first action you've ever done that's caused tears to form. You left. No, not just left. You disappeared. You left me here with: Squall, the guy too busy to ever really notice that people need his support. Rinoa, the girl has a one track mind, getting Squall. Selphie, she's too busy trying to comfort her old friends and rebuilt Trabia Garden. Irvine, that guy's too busy getting his flirt on at his own Garden to ever come visit, not to mention I'm a guy, so that means less chance of attention anyways. And Quistis, she's too busy taking care of the Cadets to see the shattered soul of a strong SeeD. You, Seifer, you would have taken time to give me attention. You would have went out of your way to make sure that ever waking moment of my life was filled with attention from you. It doesn't matter if it would have been negative attention, I need something... Anything...
"I don't think I can go on without someone like you, Seifer. You were the reason I got up in the morning. You were the reason I headed to public places and volunteered for so many Garden events. I knew it would have brought me closer to you. Its taken me three days to get out of bed since the war, and the only reason I did was to come to your grave. Your empty grave. You never came back out of the Time Compression.
"So, here goes to seeing you on the other side. I'm sure you're down below, and I'm coming to join you."
Zell lowered his head as the tears raced down his cheek. He slowly picked up the discarded knife he had brought along with him. He cut long deep cuts down his wrists and dropped the knife. He moved closer to the grave and leaned against it.
In the distance came a voice: "Are you sure he came out this way?" Squall sounded worried, "I don't see him- Zell? ZELL!!!!" Squall ran over to Zell as the light of life left Zell's eyes for good.
'I'm on my way Seifer Almasy, I need you- I love you.'
Author's Note:
I'm sorry! I wrote in on the bus the other day, it just came to me. I know it's sad, and I know Zell is usually of a happy disposition, but when you lose something you didn't realize was important to you. Depression can sometimes set in. Believe me, I know from experience. Anyways, I'm a comment whore. I do bad things for comments... like beg! Please!!!!!! heh. Comments or Reviews can also be emails to me at kristy_. Thanks for taking 5 minutes out of your day to read this short and sad couple of paragraphs. Thank you.
