Monkey D Dragon had one three years after that.
There was one person who knew about both of them, but no one knew about the son of Shanks… not him, or his son, Mikoto Suoh, did.
"Shanks! Come on, let us join you crew!" Yelled two boys excitedly to a red haired man wearing a black cape and a white shirt.
The man looked at them, amused, and teased them hilariously with their nicknames. "Copycat, anchor, you two are mere brats, you wouldn't get left from right out on the sea. Why would I want you two on my crew?" With a smirk, he leaned in closer.
They obviously took offense to that, and started with their childish boasting. "My punch is as strong as a pistol!" yelled the black haired kid with a scar under his left eye. "Hah! You're weak Luffy, my punches are stronger than cannons!" exclaimed his taller, red haired friend with dark yellow eyes, borderline orange.
Shanks and his crew quieted down and seemed to be really considering it. Shanks stood up and moved away from the table they were sitting at. He stared at the kids seriously. "Okay, copycat, and anchor, break this table with a punch." The two confidently stood, with smug grins on their faces, and took their stances. Suoh and Luffy, ready for the punch.
Bang!
They both failed horribly, hurt their hands and the crew got back to laughing their ass off! "Hahaha! Your punches wouldn't hurt a squirrel!"
BAM
The door of the bar got slammed off its hinges. "The scourge of the mountain is here. Wench, serve us 10 barrels of Sake and we won't wreck the place." A tall man said as he rudely entered the bar. He bumped into the pirates on his way there, and ignored them right after.
"I am afraid the Sake has just run out." Makino, the pretty, green haired bar maiden said. The man scoffed. "I am Higuma the bear, a bandit worth 2 million berries. I can clearly see these pirates are drinking Sake, are you trying to lie to me?"
Makino gulped, but stayed professional. "No, they are drinking the last of it." You could tell she was nervous, and Shanks fortunately, or unfortunately came to her rescue. "Hey, you can have this bottle if you want." He reached out his arm towards Higuma, bottle in hand. Higuma looked at the bottle, and reached out his hand like he was going to accept it, but on the last second, clenched his fist and slammed the bottle.
Shanks got Sake all over him, and looked down. "Ahh, the whole floor is wet. Makino, do you have a rag?" Higuma looked at the pirate captain in disdain. "Oh, you don't have to do it, I can do it myself."
Higuma drew his sword from his scabbard. "If you two love cleaning so much, then you can clean this as well!" He swung his sword, but as he was untrained, and stiff, he accidently cut Makino's cheek. And that didn't go unnoticed by Shanks.
An instant after the cut was made, Higuma had a fist in the face that sent him flying into his grunts waiting outside of the bar, tripping them over to the ground down with him. He rose up and glared ferociously at Shanks who was walking out of the bar.
"Listen. I don't care if you spill Sake over me, hell, you can even spit on me, I will just laugh it off. But if you hurt a friend of mine, I will never forgive you." The glare he sent back was loaded with killing intent, and the mountain bandits almost wet themselves. "Take your goons and get out of here."
Walking into the bar, Shanks was loaded with praise from the two admiring boys. "Wow shanks! That's so cool!" "He went flying, like whoosh!" He laughed loudly, and his crew began drinking their last Sake. "I have to go to the ship and change my shirt, will be back in a minute." He was met with a 'Aye!' from all the crew members as he went out of the bar.
Luffy's and Suoh's stomachs growled, and they looked around the bar for food. Eventually they stumbled upon a long chest with two fruits within, and they looked at each other. "Luffy, which one do you want?" Luffy stared at the fruits intensely, as if this was a life changing decision.
"I will take the purple, you can take the red one." They took their respective fruits and bit into them, disgusting as it was, they ate it all.
Shanks came back, yelling at them and trying to make them puke it out, telling them about Luffy's fruit being the gomu gomu fruit, and Suoh's being unidentified.
It was not 'as if', this really was a life changing decision.

Mikoto Suoh is the same guy from K Project, the badass, smoking guy with red hair. There may or may not be any more crossovers, depends.
He will have his own crew, and will be a rival crew of Luffys.
I want you all to review if there is a specific fruit you want to see him use, as I am not sure which one to give him, but there are a few that I am thinking about giving him, and a few I absolutely don't want him to have. It's fine if the fruit isn't a real one as well. The fruit itself doesn't need to be associated with the color of it.
Forbidden fruits:
Water devil fruit
Normal or Extinct Zoan
Blood devil fruit
Bone devil fruit
Goro goro no mi
Yami yami no mi
Kaze kaze no mi(wind logia)
Considered fruits:
Kasai kasai no mi(fire logia, stronger than Ace's Flare flare fruit, capable of changing temperature of the fire)
Gura gura no mi
Magu magu no mi
Unnamed gravity paramecia(i don't think they explained how a devil fruit was named. he could simply not name it.)
I will release another chapter this week, maybe even later on today. If no devil fruits I like appear in the reviews before long, then I will just choose one of the considered ones.
