NGE: His Redemption
Prologue: The promise/Return
"Uh! What the hell happen to me where am I? Where is the EVA? And the giant Rei......." started say shinji but trailed off towards the end.
{Flashback}
"Become One with me shinji-kun."said the giant Rei-Lilith hybrid.
"What's happening"Shouted shinji from inside the cockpit of unit-01. "where is everybody?and why are you so big?" He said to the towering Rei-Lilith. Suddenly he started to imagine everybody "Touji, Kensuke, Hikari, Asuka, Misato..... please...... someone anyone help me."Said shinji to nobody in particular. A soft voice speaks through his head "shinji....shinji...." Shinji replies like anybody that disoriented "huh who is that?Show your self". The voice got louder "shinji honey listen to me." demanded the voice that started to sound oddly feminine. "OK...?" stated shinji kind of confused. "I know you don't think I'm there for you but I have always been here watching over you since you first came." said the voice. Shinji then started to remember from the very first time he stepped foot in the EVA cages, when the beam almost fell on him to the time he got suck in to the EVA. "mom...mom it was always you that gave me that warm felling that I felt." Shinji said. "Yes." said the now identified vioce of yui ikari. " Now listen to me I have enough power in the core to send you to an alternate time line that this has not happened yet so you can change everything and prevent this from happening." spoke yui in a serious voice. " Really! you can do that I can see touji, kensuke, hikari, asuka, and even misato!" shouted an excited shinji. " Yes now the choice is yours to make remember that you must not let any one know that you know what's going to happen."said yui "because they might try to stop you from doing it just to see this happen again. So what is your choice YES or NO?"finished yui.
"I............I-I-I.........Choose..............."
{Flashback End}
"YES! Now I remember and yes mother I will change not only the events but myself as well. Thank you mother and please continue watching over me. Now what day is it? Wow one year till I get called up by my father. Lets start working on changing me so that asuka dosen't think of me as a spineless wimp." Shinji finished saying looking out the window to the morning sun...........(Birds chirping).
