Tsunade looked out her window. Jiraiya had died protecting the city. She knew he was proud of it. She wasn't. She had lose her best friend. "Dummy." That was all she continued to call him all day. Memory after memory. She didn't want to be Hokage anymore. She wanted to be left alone. Alone to her misery. Everyone blamed her for the death. Hell, she even blamed herself. She knew she couldn't stop him. He had died protecting the village. And in the end, her. She knew that. She was one of the many reasons why he wanted to eliminate a great evil. To protect her. Now he was telling her to get her weapons on and get them.

She would get them all. All those who had threatened to hurt her village. She was here to protect them all. Jiraiya had shown her that. She would protect it until the last minute. That was her task and he felt it the right job for her. She would hunt down every last Akatsuki member. She would kill them all. That was her promise. That was her plan. She would make it the safe place she promised him it would be. She would protect Konoha at all costs. Even if it meant her life.

Tsunade had nothing left to say. She loved Jiraiya and she would let his legacy go on. Hell, she would protect each and every thing out there. He had brought her the light. And in the darkness Konoha was going under, she brought the flame. It was her job to fan the fire until it blazed throughout the entire village. She would protect the entire village with her strength.

She would take his memories to the grave with her. She would die for him and Konoha. She would carry his name to the end.

Those thing should stay away from them all.
