Have you heard to story of the Lonely Server? It is a GMOD Server, and it runs all day and all night.
This particular Server used to have players non-stop, but for the last 7 Months, Nobody has been able to access their once loved server. There have been a few witnesses of what happened the day the Server locked, some say that the Admin was a recluse, he was always on the server, but always cloaked and nobody ever knew where he was. It was clear in the MOTD that in order to speak to the admin you must put " " then your problem, and it would be sorted out straight away without the need of the Admin to appear before you.
Nobody seemed to mind the mysterious owner of this Server, as they had fun and were no bother. But, the day the server locked, some eye reports say that the Admin was slowly Banning people from his Server, without any reason or cause. I was lucky enough to speak to the final person in the server.
The following is an extract taken from the interview I had with the Final server dweller:
"The Admin of the server was great, but we never saw him. But one day he banned everyone except me. And then, he teleported to me uncloaked. I felt privileged, but he just stood there, then walked down the road and around the corner. I was afraid to follow but, seeing as it was a game I decided to anyway in the hope that something amazing would happen. Nothing did and he continued to wander down the road. So I left, never went back"
People say that the Server unlocks from time to time and that you can enter, and if you do the Admin will be 1 of 3 things,Cloaked, Not on the Server or Walking the roads endlessly.
