Perfectly hazel eyes observed the yellows and oranges that daintily splashed themselves across the ever expanding horizon. In one hand- she held her dying ciggerette and in the other, a journal. The front cover was half ripped and the inside pages were faded and folded. The female dropped her ciggerette to the ground and stomped on it a few times to put out any remaining heat that might have been left in it.
Her silken chestnut colored tendrils fell several rough inches past her slender shoulders. She peered out towards her large front yard where a male stood chasing two small toddlers around. She smiled slightly to herself. A lot had happened in the past two years. It was all written down in the diary of Evangeline Madeline Whitt.
