Frank turned on the tap in front of the water-damaged mirror, glancing the watch, then carding his suit unhurriedly.

Just as he walked out of public toilets half way to the plane landed by the lake, the phone rang up. He swiped the screen. No caller, but it wasn't unusual if it's the past, almost all his clients was inconvenient to indicate themselves. While he wasn't sure whether he should answer or not, he has intended to take a hiatus…for a while, perhaps longer. He's very pleased with the current daily lives, boring, uneventful, and not so challenging as other times truth be told. Not that he missed them, recollection may be instinctive.

Sighing, he pressed the call key. Had better check it up at least if he wants to get no trouble. Now that they have found him―Wait, would they know he is in Anchorage? There should be few people interrupting whenever this time that is infrequent like now, whatever they required felt like years ago; Valentina, Tarconi were only apprised he's in Alaska…he hasn't imagined nor made preparation for their reaction that after telling them anything about that.

"Is everything alright Frank?" Said a voice sounded younger than Frank and he himself should be. "how is the weather?"

"Yeah." Frank exhaled, having no idea to joy or annoy. "cold, gusty, the same dusk as the situation. Am I right?" he satirized pessimistically.

"I'm not sure, we have little confidence in Hera's plan." Admitted from the other side of the phone. "anyway, how was your journey?"

"safe and sound." Frank reassured. "hope they would continue this way, too." He turned toward the direction where his three young passengers leaving shortly before.

"believe me, I hope I can intervene in the quests." laughed wryly from the phone. "or at least in your flight. But I can't do anything in Alaska."

"I know." Frank shrugged; he didn't like the bitter in the sound however. "just a short-haul. I can always take care of myself." He regretted saying that immediately as if blamed him for the neglect, which's true, but Frank didn't mean it.

"you make me proudest Frank." His sound lightened, surprisingly. "we both know you achieved those journeys on your own from then till now even without me, you could find or make your ways whatsoever. I wish Luke could do the same…" Voice faded in frustration.

"I think he still did eventually, didn't him?" Frank stated when walking close to the plane. "Just because someone stumbles, loses their way, doesn't mean they're lost forever."

"Days of Future Past?" he giggled boyishly.

"we are against the clock all the time." Frank joked dully, opening the door, "and it's a matter of fates this time."

"and by the way, Venus was glad that you have found someone."

Frank paused when ready to sit down, rolling his eyes. "right, I think she like seeing the traits of Mars show on her legacy. So perfect." Frank remembered that day campers astounded for he wasn't related to one of any god or goddess of war.

"nor could I imagine one of my children was such a competent praetor." He said proudly. "then, you may well as be careful…"

"are the manpower enough?" Frank perceived how dire the situation is even lost contact for ages, until early on he accepted this project which he know too important to shirk responsibility. Mission will be reached, keep to rule was what legion disciplined him. Otherwise he has experienced the result.

"go on the road no matter which you choose. That's my expectation for you."He said after a silence. "I agreed every your decision, and whatever the end is, those people you care, friends, family, are the most valuable. Safe travel."

Frank nodded, "Adieu, Dad." ended the phone, he set plane in motion.
