Survive, Slay, and Stock

The Minecraft world was infested by zombies. Previously, they weren't a threat for a experienced Minecraftian. Now, with hordes and hordes of them, and with millions of them spawning at the night and at caves, they aren't as manageable as they used to be. How will the Minecraftians repel and destroy this new threat? Slow building Steve/OC pairing.

March 2, 2016(Minecraftia) 2:00 P.M

This was the day that the outbreak begun. No one could explain why, but it just happened. Zombies weren't a new thing to the Minecraftians - Not at all. But the number was manageable. A zombie is hardly a threat to an trained minecraftian. But thousands of zombies were, in fact, a big threat, even to the strongest Minecraftians.

In one day, several cities were building walls to protect themselves. At least two cities fell and were subdued by the zombies. The advantage was that the Minecraftians still respawned after being devoured, meaning that no one would definitively die. Every survivor had to eat zombie meat to survive. Some survivors could plant wheat, carrots or then potatoes, but the great majority had to stock zombies.

Thousands of scientists said that the completely disproportional increase in zombies were caused by the myth Herobrine. Others said that the zombies developed the ability to multiply. No one knew what was happening in fact.

The so-called "Safe Zones" begun to appear, and then groups of survivors battled with the almost endless herds of zombies. Thousands of survivors. Looks like that the battling cycle will never end. The zombies just spawning again and again, in search of flesh. Meat in general. And survivors in search of food, any kind of food. Including zombie flesh.
