There's something about morning breath.
It's just one of the worst things in Spira.
But you know, for some reason, it ruins the lightness of the mood when you wake up from a great night, and she (name withheld) leans over to give you a kiss, and you lean back and say, "Could you brush your teeth first?" Hypothetically, of course.
I guess I got lucky with Cid's Girl.
I don't know, for some reason, her mouth just doesn't scum up overnight like other peoples' do. I don't mind kissing her when we first wake up.
I mean, don't get me wrong, it's not like a basket of roses or minty fresh or anything like that. Although I don't think they make toothpaste that's titled, "Basket of Roses". But anyway, it just doesn't smell like something that you should beware to put up to open flame.
Actually, it doesn't smell like anything really. It's just… I don't know, it's just nothing!
Point is, it's kind of nice to kiss someone in the morning and not have to wait for them to go brush their teeth. Or have them awkwardly say that they have to go just because you asked them to. Hypothetically, of course.
