Pioggia Toscana
So much for our picnic, I think as the pregnant clouds finally open. I begin to gather the contents of the picnic basket, but Jasper tells me to leave it.
Impulsively he strips, and bids me do the same. By the time we're both naked in the privacy of the lawn surrounding our villa, his curls are soaked with rain, dripping onto his bare shoulders.
More beautiful than any statue in that garden, he laughs out loud when I lifted him onto a heavy, carved stone wall; and then I make love to my new husband in the Tuscan rain.
