This my first attempt at a songfic. Not sure if I got it right, but it was hard! Just a very short OneShot BB lovin' songfic!

Based off of the song "Her Eyes" by Pat Monahan. Short song - shorter songfic, unfortunately.

Disclaimer: Bones is not mine. But if I had my way, Booth would be

Bones and I were sitting sat at the Royal Diner drinking smoothies and sharing some fries.

"What I'm saying, Bones, is that despite his crappy alibi, I know he's innocent. I can feel it in my gut," I was explaining.

"How do you know, Booth? I mean really know? All of the evidence points in his direction. His 'alibi' is that he was camping in the woods all weekend in an attempt to photograph various wildlife. Alone; no witnesses. I just can't justify letting him go so easily," she argued.

I don't agree with her half the time but damn I'm glad she's mine.

"Bones, you just gotta trust me, here. I know what I'm doing. Can you please just let this one slide?" I pleaded with her,

She looked at me for a moment, exasperated. Then when she looked back up at me from her milkshake, the look in those big, beautiful blue eyes had changed. Whenever I look into those eyes I get lost in their beauty…

Her eyes, that's where hope lies.

That's where blue skies

Meet the sunrise.

Her eyes, that's where I go

When I go home.

"Fine Booth, I trust you. Though you make leaps, you seem to be the one that's better at reading people," she finally agreed.

"Thanks, Bones! Only doing my job," I flashed her my charm smile, knowing it always let me get my way with her.

"But it's going to be hard, Booth. We'll have to tell the victim's mother that we have no leads, and no other suspects…" she trailed off. "But we can do it together, I suppose."

She doesn't know the word 'impossible.'

Don't care where I've been and doesn't care where we're goin' to.

"Okay, Bones. Then lets go! We've got another suspect to find," I said as I put my hand in the small of her back and lead her out the door.

She takes me as I am, and that ain't easy.

She's beautiful. So beautiful.

"I'll drive," she said with what she thought was finality.

"I don't think so, Bones," I said while biting my tongue to stop from laughing at her beautiful, pouting expression.

And sometimes I think she's truly crazy.

And I love it.

A/N: Short, but did you like it? I hope I got the general idea of what a songfic is correct. Now push that little blue button, and make this author happy 
