"What?" I said, "There's no way in hell."
"Rose, I'm sorry." The line went dead. Oh my God. I have to get to the hospital. I have to get there now!
"Mom. Mom! MOM?!" I yelled.
"What, honey? What's wrong?" She asked me.
"We have to go to the hospital. Like, right now. Emmett was in an accident. He's hurt really bad. His mom called. She didn't give me all of the details, though. Come on. Lets go!" I said breathlessly.
As we drove to the hospital, I sat there and stared out the window through teary eyes. This can't be happening. I can't lose him. I love him.
