Season 1, Episode 4. "No Quarter"

"The drop was successful," Annie whispered into her phone, her pace quickening as she navigated the Zurich foot traffic.

"Excellent," Auggie cheered on the other end. "Get thee to an airport. You're on your way home."

"So that's it?" Annie asked, skeptically.

"Cross your fingers and hold your toes, Walker, but I think you've just completed your first cut-and-dry successful op."

"Refreshing," Annie muttered.

"Honestly? Your career in the field has been far more eventful than mine ever was."

"So what about the... you know..." Annie's kept a wary eye on the surrounding pedestrians, always on the lookout for eavesdroppers.

"The safe house," Auggie said.

"Yeah... that."

"No need."

"Oh."

"Hey, how was the hand-off?" Auggie asked.

"It was fine," Annie shrugged. "I showed him mine and he showed me his."

"Was he nice to you?" Auggie teased. "Because there are some real asswads batting for Mossad these days."

"It was fine," Annie repeated, remembering the agent as handsome but entirely disinterested in any pleasantries not scripted into the game plan. "I can't wait to get home."

"Can't wait to have you," Auggie said. She heard a man's voice on the other end of the line, and Auggie muttered something about being there in a minute. "Listen, I gotta go. Flight 293. You got that?"

"Got it boss." Annie hung up her phone and made her way to the airport with her head held high. For once, there was no self-defense, no plan B, no shots fired. Just a switch, a long flight home, and her own bed at the end of the day.
