Summary: This fict takes place when the Marauders went to school. Lily's cousin, who is also in Seventh year, moves to England, where she now attends Hogwarts with Lily. Sirius and James make a bet on Sirius' ability to go out with her. Can Sirius win? And will she affect him?

Sirius Black, his friends James, Remus, and the commonly known and "Wormtail" Peter, were disembarking from the Hogwarts Express grinning. "Brilliant." James smiled at the number of susceptible first-years shuffling off the train. He was considering selling them some harmless 'maps' of Hogwarts, but then a shock of bright red hair appeared, making him shove the handful of papers back into his cloak. "Hi Lily!" he said, blissfully unaware of how superficial he sounded. Sirius nudged Remus, pointing at Lily. "Here goes," he said. "Not two minutes off the train and already planning scams. You have to love his stupidity." True enough, Lily soon settled into one of her "Responsibility" lectures. Remus, Sirius, and Wormtail were walking away to find a coach when a rather hassled and unfamiliar person bumped into them, spilling their school supplies everywhere. "So sorry, I'm just a bit lost…" the voice trailed off. Sirius bent down to her the girl retrieve her belongings. "I've lost my cousin again!" she said exasperatedly. "S'okay," Sirius said "You can join us. We lost someone too." Sirius didn't bother looking back for James and Lily; he knew they'd be snogging somewhere. Remus frowned in thought at her as they walked on. He bent towards Sirius and whispered quietly in his ear. "She looks scary familiar, mate. Why are we inviting her along again?" Sirius rolled his eyes. "And you're the prefect. Isn't there some rule or code about inclusion? Or are you to good for that? Just because she's a girl-" "Sirius, if you don't stop trying to date everything remotely female that walks on two legs, you're going to drive me insane!" Sirius pretended to look shocked. "Me? Be a womanizer? Ha! As if!" he said, with a look that could only be described as creepy. "You really shouldn't whisper," the girl cut in. "It's rude. And I can hear you. Yes, I am familiar. Judging from the looks and arrogance, you must be Sirius, and you two are Remus and Peter. I've been warned against you, Sirius." Remus stifled a laugh, as the girl glared fiercely at Sirius. "What's your name?" Sirius asked, taken aback by her forwardness. "Kali." She said. "Kali Evans."

In the dorms:

"I'm telling you, she's scary! I don't want two Lily's! One is enough!" Remus caught James's glare and looked back. "Sorry mate, but one is really enough! There's no difference between them." Sirius sat there looking completely unconcerned. "She's hot. And she has brown hair, not red. There, a difference for you." "Hot?" Remus looked annoyed. "Come on! Can't you just say she's a bitch to pacify me? Please!" Sirius smiled evilly. "Yeah, she is one. But she's still hot. And I bet I can calm her down." Sirius was too cocky this time. James sat up. "I bet you can't go out with her." James challenged, thinking of his own difficulties with Lily. "I'll take that bet." Sirius said, leaning forward to take James' hand and shake it. "By Christmas, I'll have her in my arms."
