AN: Well, this is my first shot at poetry here, so here goes. I've based it around the Doctor's line in The Satan Pit: "I believe in her".

Creed

You tell me you believe in gods,

And all the devils too.

The one thing that I know for sure,

Is I believe in you.

I've seen you fall so many times,

And I know the ground is hard.

I've been in your place before,

And seen perfection marred.

I've walked on stars and stepped through Time,

Gained knowledge past my age

I've read the book that is your life,

Learned each and every page.

I have been warned to stay away,

But I hope this never ends.

I've found all that I lost in you,

So I won't bother with amends.

I've broken every rule before,

This one might as well go too.

I made my choice so long ago,

And now I'll follow through.

I've watched you rise time and again,

Always back on your feet.

I've marveled at the strength in you,

Each time our gazes meet.

You say you'll be there when I fall,

And I trust that this is true.

'Cause one thing that I know for sure,

Is I believe in you.
