Okay, I'm supposed to check my e-mail address every month or so, so that the address isn't closed down. Which means I need a reason to check it, and I haven't been getting any reveiws for my stories. So PLEASE review, so that I won't give up hope for my email address and my penname.

Disclaimer: I don't own anybody here. I only own the events (if even all of those).

The phone was ringing. Rubbing his eyes furiously and cursing Remus for wanting a phone he flopped out of bed. He made his way over to the phone and picked it up.

"I don't care what time it is in New Jersey, it's one in the morning here, and I don't want tele-marketers waking me up," he grumbled into the phone.

"Sirius?"

"Lily?" He said. "What's up?"

"Can you pick me up? I'm at James' flat."

"Well, okay . . . . . . . . . . ."

"Thank you so much."

Sirius put the phone on the hook and trudged down the hall. He opened the door opposite his room and peered in. He went over to the bed where a lump lay under the covers.

"Hey, dick-head," Sirius sat, giving the lump a sharp nudge with his toe. Remus face appeared from under the blankets. "I just got a phone call."

"Yeah, so?" Remus said groggily.

"It's one o'clock in the morning," Sirius said pointedly.

"Damn telemarketers," Remus grumbled, before laying back down.

"Hey!" Sirius said. "I'm not finished."

"Then finish so I can go back to sleep."

"I going to go pick up Lily. She might be spending the night."

"Okay," Remus' voice sounded a bit distant. He hadn't understood a word Sirius had said.

Sirius got up the next morning, and was about to go out into the living room when he remembered the events of last night. Better get some clothes on. Remus was annoyed enough at Sirius walking out like that in the morning, imagine Lily's reaction. He looked around for a moment, but couldn't find the pants he wanted. So he pulled on last night's pair.

"Lily," he said, truding out into the living room. "You haven't seen a set of nice robes lying around, have you?"

"Oh, yes!" she said. "I put them in the bathroom. I thought you'd take a shower before you left."

"Not this morning. I'm not in the mood." He said, walking into the bathroom where his work robes were clean and folded. "Did you know," he called down the hall. "That you amaze me. You go in my room, clean my clothes, and make breakfast without waking me up."

"It's not that hard," Lily said, smiling, as Sirius walked into the living room. He was fully clothed this time.

"Did Remus leave yet?" Sirius asked.

"I didn't see him. But I may have been up later than him. You know that he will get up at all hours."

"Not all hours, but pretty early. He's probably at the library, studying."

"Extra schooling?" Lily asked.

"Yeah."

"Here," she said, thrusting a plate at him. "Eat."

He looked down at the breakfast she had made. "What is it?"

She looked at what she had made too. "An omlette and octopus dogs. I saw them in pictures before, but I didn't do a very good job at imitating them."

Sirius sat down at the table. "They're still really good." He said, taking a bite of one of them.

He was out the door in a few minutes, and Lily went about tackling the mess. It was truly a guys' apartment. She made her way over to Remus' room, but when she opened the door, she saw Remus still lying there.

"Lily?" he said, somewhat groggily.

"I thought you'd left," she said, walking over to him. "You feeling alright?"

"Just kind of sleepy, headache," he grumbled. "I should just need some sleep."

Lily touched his forehead and clucked her tounge. "You're burning up!"

"I'll be fine," he said.

"I'll take care of you today," she said, as if it were final.
