The Ties That Bind Us

This is just some random thought going through my head. I can't tell if it's good or not.

The day has passed,

Still no sign of you,

I'm waiting for you to appear,

I want to see you again,

To feel your warm fingers caress my face,

To feel the touch of your lips upon mine,

Wait, there you are, coming in the door,

I run to you, I hug you tight,

You pull away,

I start to fear,

Maybe the love we shared wasn't meant to last,

Then you reach for your pocket,

Pull out a box,

You kneel,

And ask if I would like to share the rest of my life with you,

Of course,

I say yes,

After all, these are the ties that bind us,

Me and You, Forever Together.
