-Silly little thing I wrote awhile a go, maybe a bit ooc, but oh well...by the way I do not own any characters or PoT (but really if I did I would not be writing here now would I)
Tezuka nearly jumped out of his skin as a force slammed into his back and a scream sounded in his ear. He was hiking with Echizen through the woods and they were having a very pleasant time together. It had been their first non-tennis date and Tezuka was thrilled it had been so nice. Sometimes he was worried that the only thing they had in common was tennis and this proved it wasn't.
When he looked back; he saw Echizen clinging to him like there was no tomorrow and staring at the ground like it would eat him. When he looked at the ground he did not see anything.
"Make it go away Buchou."
"Make what go away? There is nothing there." Said Tezuka, a little more than confuse and trying to pry Echizen off his back.
"Don't you see it? It's right there! It's probably poisonous and I nearly stepped on it too," said Echizen, shaking like a leaf and pointing at the ground.
When Tezuka moved closer, Echizen actually squeaked and jumped away onto a rock, looking terrified. After moving a little closer, he nearly burst out laughing with what he saw. It was just a little, brown, snake that was perfectly harmless. His boyfriend was terrified of snakes. He could not resist playing a little joke.
"Do you mean this snake?" asked Tezuka, holding the snake up, right in Echizen's face.
He screamed again and fell off the rock.
"Echizen, its ok, that little snake is perfectly harmless and is not poisonous at all," said Tezuka with a little smile, pulling the boy into a tight hug.
"Sure?"
"I promise."
"Still don't like them," grumbled the boy, more then a bit embarrassed about overreacting to the snake. Tezuka chuckled at that and pulled the boy to his feet.
"Nee, can you not tell anyone of this?" asked Echizen holding onto Tezuka's hand.
Tezuka chuckled again, "I promise."
