Chapter 1
"I have a bad feeling about this." Tamaki's quiet voice forced Kyouya to really look at him. The blonde's eyes were turned toward the airplanes flying to and from their destinations. His violet eyes were wide and filmed with nerves.
"Tamaki its fine, we fly all the time." Kyouya tried unsuccessfully to reason with Tamaki. He had never seen the violet eyed beauty afraid before especially of something as silly as a plane ride.
Tamaki nodded but he didn't turn his head away from the panes and the fear didn't leave his eyes. Without warning he leant over Kyouya's faithful laptop and pressed a kiss to the boys cheek and murmured a soft 'I love you'. Kyouya looked up at the touch and blushed a light pink at the words but when he saw Tamaki's attention was back on the planes Kyouya shook his head with a small smile and returned his attention to his laptop.
Perfectly on time the two boys boarded the plane and made themselves comfortable in the large first class chairs. Kyouya allowed his Tamaki to take the window seat not wanting to fight with the blonde when Kyouya knew he was frightened. When the engines came to life Kyouya would not have taken any notice if his seat mate wouldn't have grabbed his forearm in a painful grip and let out a very girly squeal.
"Tamaki, we are surrounded by possible business partners so if you would act professional I think that would be wonderful." The stern tone brought the blonde back to earth and he smiled weakly and nodded.
"I have a bad feeling about this."
"Yes I heard you before."
"Kyouya I'm being serious I am not joking around." Tamaki looked imploringly at the dark haired boy who didn't pay the least bit of attention to him. "We're flying over the ocean Kyouya what if we crash?"
"The ocean would be much more suitable for a crash then land, so stop worrying." Though Kyouya's tone was harsh when the plane experienced slight turbulence and Tamaki's white-knuckled grip on the armrest became painful to look at the dark haired heir took the slim hand in his own and squeezed gently.
Kyouya sighed when Tamaki finally managed to close his eyes and sleep. He spent ten minutes trying to talk his friend off the ledge and had just reached the end of his rope when violet eyes became droopy and closed on their own accord. He laughed softly to himself when he realized he would finally have time to finish his work when the lights went out in the plane.
Slowly red emergency lights lighted all over the first class section, lighting up walkways and the emergency exit sign. The voice of the captain came over the speakers and announced that they were having engine failures but were confident they could make it to the nearest airport. Kyouya's attention was brought back to Tamaki when he felt the painful grip on his hand and a soft head of hair pressed to his shoulder.
"I told you. I love you Kyouya." The voice was tear-filled but he wasn't crying.
"Tamaki, the pilot said we would be fine weren't you listening?" When he didn't receive a vocal response just the squeeze of his hand and a few sniffles he whispered. "I love you too, Tamaki."
Around them the emergency lights flickered.
