A/n: In conjunction with Father's Day, I've written a poet-fic about Otoosan.

Everybody her knew that otoosan means father, right? Haha, I was just wondering...

Disclaimer: I don't own CCS…

Our Otoosan

Otoosan…

You're our father

And you're also our mother

We shared our laughter

And tears together

We knew that…

Happiness and sorrow

Are meaningless to share without you around

Otoosan…

Without you…

We won't be here

We won't be able to see

The beauties of nature

And the sea's blue tide

Without you…

We felt a desolate sense of inadequacy

Bouts of instability in life

And chronic feelings of emptiness and worthlessness

Otoosan…

When we made mistakes

Your anger came

Disappointment lingered

But neither of us blamed on each other

Because you taught us that

Human made mistakes

And from you

We learned that blood is thicker than water

Otoosan…

When we were child

You sang our dear lullabies

And told us mother goose stories before bed

From it, we were able to decipher

The simple mother goose bedtime nursery rhyme

Hold deeper meaning

Otoosan…

Of God's grace, love and trust

Years, decades and centuries may pass

And when someday death calls us

We will close our eyes

And reminiscing the greatest gift we ever had

Our Otoosan…

We love you, Otoosan!

Your dearest,

Touya and Sakura.

Kinamoto Fujitaka stared melancholically at the meticulously written poem on a piece of card that was placed on the dining table. He closed his eyes and thanked the dear God for giving him two beautiful angels that will always accompany him until the end of his life.

A/n: HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, EVERYONE!
