Hello :)
Okay first fanfic on here, hope it's good ^^ Not the best writer ever, but I'll get there! one day.
This is just a scene that popped up in my head, what else could've happened before Kurt gets the crown.
I do not own Glee or any of the characters!
"This year Mckinley High Prom Queen is…" Figgins looked down at the little round piece of paper in his hands, and went silent for a few seconds. He looked up, cleared his throat a little and said "Kurt Hummel."
Then silence hit the room. Everyone was looking at the pale boy, who looked like a deer caught in the headlights. Blaine tried to take his hand "Kurt…" he said quietly, but Kurt just ran out of the room leaving everyone in silence, except for Blaine who ran after him "Kurt!".
He found his boyfriend sitting up against some lockers, out in the hallway, crying. Hiding his face between the knees, resting his forehead on them, Kurt tried to control his tears as much as he could. He knew Blaine was sitting right in front of him, looking at him.
"Kurt…"
"No."
"Kurt, please just listen…"
With red eyes and tears down his cheeks, Kurt slowly looked up at Blaine "Kurt, I know, that what just happened isn't fun, in any way even if that was the idea. Don't let yourself get knocked out because of this, you're better than that. Who knows, maybe this is your chance to show everyone in there, everyone who have bullied you not accepting you for who you are, show them what a great person you are. If this was their plan to get you down, turn their victory into a failure. Now I want you, to go in there and get that Prom Queen Crown. As soon as that crown is sitting on your head, you'll know that this is your night." He said giving his boyfriend a warm smile. Kurt could only smile at that, and knowing that Blaine got his back, so if he would fall Blaine would grab him and push him pack up.
He removed arms and lifted his head more so Blaine could take a better look at his face. The smaller boy brushed the tears of Kurt's cheek and let his fingers slide down under his chin, only to gently pull him closer into a kiss.
