Whatever makes it easier
She did whatever she could to make it easier
To mask the pain she felt within.
She didn't want them to she the hidden pain she carried
Silently hoping it would fade away.
She wanted to turn the clock back to when there was no pain
To when life was easy and good to her.
A time she feels now that seems like a dream that never was
A past she can't reclaim, an easiness lost.
Whatever makes it easier,
That was her motto to make it through.
Through the pain, the hurt and the humiliation
That she was forced to go through because of a choice she made.
Her life wasn't the same now,
The change that was unexpected happened.
She had to grow up overnight
To cope and endure the pain she went through.
The pain and hurt she felt wasn't shown,
Wasn't known by others or seen by anyone else.
She showed a façade to the outside world because
