Author's Note: So, I was a bit bored. This is my second Skull/Kim fic, I hope you all enjoy.
It was a gloomy Saturday afternoon, Eugene Skullovitch, or "Skull," nicknamed by his peers was dwindling with a straw at the Juice Bar, just thinking. It had been several years he had thought about her. Her name was Kimberly Ann Hart. In every way, the woman had captured his heart in high school.
Many said that they couldn't prolong a relationship. They were completely two different opposites – she was a gymnast and an avid shopper, whereas he was known as a prankster and a troublemaker. However, he didn't seem to budge his affection and love to her, but she on the other hand was in love with someone else. That fateful day, took its turn.
"She said to be here in forty-five minutes," he sighed as he sipped his drink. He looked up at the time. "I hope she comes." He sighed again as he watched the people come in and out of the famous Bar that everyone called home to growing up.
He watched as many faces walked by. Some were unfamiliar; after all, it had been ten years since he's seen her last. He wondered how she was or what she looked like now. All of his assumptions drew his mind to many conclusions, but he patiently waited.
He was dressed in a grey tux with a long stemmed rose rested in water as he waited. Time ticked slowly as he waited. Minutes turned into hours as he continued waiting, but where could she be?
Suddenly, a petite brunette entered into the Bar. His eyes widened as he saw her. His smiling grin couldn't escape what he was before him. He tried to act mature; he tried to hide his laugh – his infamous laugh.
"Kimberly!" he frantically waved. He raced over to the stairs as he met her half way. The young woman smiled as she hugged her friend. "How's everything?" She gave him a warm smile.
"I'm great Skull. Wow, you've changed quite a bit," she giggled as she saw him dressed in business-like attire. "How about you?" She smiled again as he gave her the rose.
"Busy, but there's been a lot of changes."
"Yeah. Certainly, you've changed Skully."
Kimberly punched his arm playfully as she sat across from him, smelling the rose. Her eyes looked at him as he fixated his eyes on her. The two caught up on their lives as the two exchanged laughs and conversation. It was almost a dream of Skull's to see the young woman again.
As the conversation got under way, a lot of changes were shown. Skull was no longer a prankster or a troublemaker, but became someone totally different, as did his young friend who was now an artist.
"How about we get some dinner, my treat?" Skull asked his friend as he extended his hand and offering to his friend, "What'cha say Ms. Hart?" He cackled a laugh that she adored as he smiled.
"Definitely," Kim replied as she accepted his offer, "and some fun afterwards." She took his hand as her other hand was holding the rose.
"You're on."
The two left the Juice Bar as smiles were written across their faces.
