Author's Note: This is my first time wirting a Ling/Lan Fan fan fict-ie, kays? So, please, don't kill me. :) Ranfan/Lan Fan??? They're the same!

As they sat down on the staircase outside of the palace, both were unaware of their surroundings or the people walking around them. It was quite quiet except for the sounds of crickets chirping and munching noises coming from the Prince.
The girl was staring up at the dark blue sky, enjoying the scenery of bright stars up above. In addition with the stars, it was full moon night. Light reflected by the moon shone directly on to the both of them. Unfortunately, the girl's face was hidden behind a mask so she could not feel the light shining on to her face.
Sitting next to her was a boy who was fully unaware of his surroundings, even of the light shining onto them. He was too busy eating and relishing the delicious taste of whatever he was eating. Each time he puts a spoonful in his mouth, he will moan in happiness and kept on saying that he did not regret buying it at all.
"They call it 'Chocolate pudding'. I'll be sure to buy it everyday."
Lan Fan was, however, annoyed by him. But, she kept her lips sealed and tried to concentrate on observing the stars. All of a sudden, she felt a tug the bottom of her mask and it was pulled away from her. As soon as her mask was removed, she stared at the thief, puzzled.
Apparently, the 'thief' was the boy sitting next to her. He held a spoonful of a brown solid-like thing in front of her lips.
"Try some. It's really yummy." Ling gestured his bodyguard with a smile that was so warm that the girl felt butterflies in her stomach instantly.
She gulped and calmed herself down. She opened her mouth and ate the solid-like thing. It was slippery but somehow, chewable. As she chewed on it, she felt a sweet sensation on her tongue. All the sugary goodness and a chocolate wonderland could be tasted in just a spoonful. She closed her eyes and started moaning as well.
As the snack dissolved in her mouth, her eyes opened wide and she placed her fist on her mouth. Her face became deep red as the Prince chuckled on how his bodyguard reacted.
She gave her master a questioning look as she wanted her mask back.
"No, I'm not gonna give your mask back." Lan Fan just kept on staring at him. He continued, "You look better this way. Well, with or without the moonlight."
He turned his gaze away from her face and up to the night sky. Lan Fan stared up at the sky too and smiled. He fed her another spoon and she tasted the sweet sensation, which came from his hand, again.
