Sam hated everyone.
No, scratch that. She didn't hate Carly or Spencer. And probably Freddie and Gibby.
Possibly.
She hated everyone else.
So she scored practically full marks on her SATs.
What was wrong with that?
She didn't get why people were staring at her and mumbling to each other as if she'd sprouted three heads overnight; just for being the co-valedictorian. (Freddie was the other one, and frankly, she wasn't all that surprised.)
So, she studied for the exams for two years.
What was the big deal?
And universities wanted her.
God knows why, because she was definitely ineligible for half of their scholarships they had thrust in her face, given her records and lack of extracurriculars, (Though you have to admit, being a co-producer, co-creator and co-star of iCarly looked good on those applications. And that ham is an excellent hobby.) But how long was iCarly going to last?
Especially if the trio decided to head off in different directions? (She eventually realises they wouldn't. Still. She didn't know it then.)
But one scholarship stands out amongst the rest, and she glares at Melanie who's shaking her head at the sight of her ignoring the rest of the brilliant offers.
So she wanted to get into college.
Sue her.
The twinkle in his eyes cause butterflies in her stomach.
Freddie Benson's really grown up now, and he's at least a head taller than her, which, in actual fact, is a little shorter than it sounds, given her tiny size, but hey, it's good enough for mama.
And he laughs as she shoves the draft of her application towards him, demanding him to read it and see if it's alright.
He obliges and as he edits the minor details here and there, she casually asks, "So, where're you going for college?"
"Same as you." Freddie states clearly, not looking up from the papers he's helping her to fill up.
She knits her eyebrows together as she thinks his answer over slowly. That wasn't right. "Julliard?"
"Nope." Freddie says, lifting his free hand to scratch his head. "NYU." He grins as he hand sher her application back. "New York City."
"With Carlotta?"
"...Yeap."
She takes back the application, stares at him for awhile, taking in his features before walking off, but not before punching him in the arm. "Thanks."
So maybe she feels like the odd one out.
Doesn't everyone?
And now it's time.
Graduation.
She stand on stage with Freddie Benson, uncomfortably waving and trying not to scratch herself in these itchy robes.
And she says her speech.
"—so... YO LOSERS, MAMA'S GOING TO COLLEGE!" She ends it in true Sam Puckett form, and is pleased when a couple of people chuckle and dab at their eyes.
And now it's Freddie's turn.
"And now, I'd like to thank some people. My mum, and best friends Spencer and Carly Shay, thank you." Freddie says, smiling.
And Sam feels her heart break.
So maybe she's in love with the nub.
So what?
"And before I go, I love you, my blonde headed demon."
Turns out Freddie hadn't quite finished.
And her heart skips a beat.
She looks at Freddie, and as the crowd slowly begins to realise what's going on, they cheer and demand a kiss.
"Love you too, nub. Love you too."
So now she has a boyfriend.
And he's everything she's ever wanted.
Disclaimer:
Obviously, I do not own iCarly. If I did, SEDDIE would have been together even after iLove You.
Review please? (:
