Author's Note: This is the silly result of an argument I had a while ago with a friend over the correct way to pronounce Draco's name. I hope you like! Please review, and keep an eye out for more Slytherin Radio episodes coming soon (er, relatively. Maybe).
"It's DR-AAH-CO!" (A Slytherin Radio production)
"Welcome, witches and wizards, to the first ever broadcast of Slytherin Radio. This is Draco Malfoy, coming to you live from locations unknown.
"That's right, witches and wizards, this is Draco Malfoy. Our first order of business tonight is the heinous mispronunciation of my name that has become rampant in this so-called school.
"My name, dear audience, is pronounced 'Draco.' That's DR—AAH—CO, as in Draconus, as in dragons. As in, witches and wizards, those mighty fire breathing creatures that will eat you in one bite if you don't pronounce their names right! Or, perhaps not; I would suppose that most of you out there would be rather unappetizing to those of us with more refined tastes.
"My father, witches and wizards, says that it is most inappropriate and uncivilized behavior to pronounce a wizard's name incorrectly. I, of course, am privileged enough to be surrounded by those who understand this concept. In fact, the only one of my peers who has ever said my name wrong more than once is—"
"Oh, Dray-co!"
"—Pansy Park— Gah!"
"Dray-co! I didn't know that you were starting a radio station! Why didn't you tell me? I can do your theme song, Drayco, listen—"
"Pansy, get off of me! I don't need a theme song, I am perfectly capable of attracting listeners on my own, would you just—"
"Just listen to it, Drayco! I promise you'll like it. I came up with it as soon as I heard your radio broadcast, it's perfect. Mmph!"
"Your absolutely right Pansy, I do need a theme song. But I don't want anyone to hear it yet, okay? Now, why don't you go into my recording studio over here and practice. I'll call you out when we're ready."
"Oh, of course, Drayco! A recording studio! You do have everything, don't you Drayco? Of course you would, I—"
Slam!
"I apologize for that interruption, witches and wizards. However, that was a perfect example of how not to pronounce my name, unless you wish to be locked in a supply closet. And so, after what I hope you will agree was an important lesson, this is Draco Malfoy, signing off. Please tune your wands in again soon for another broadcast from Slytherin Radio!"
