So perhaps this was the best of times but also the worst of times in magical history; the late 1900's and early 2000's were torture to those that lived through the war. People left and right were killed or hurt on purpose or by a stray curse, and in the middle of it all people were dependent on a child to kill the darkest dark lord since the beginning of magical time, Voldemort (a.k.a Tom Riddle).
The child, Harry Potter, until the age of 11 had no idea that magic even existed all because of the so dubbed "Leader of the Light", Albus Dumbledore. He was thrown into the war without any say and expected to kill the dark lord. The people of the magical community didn't once think of giving Harry a normal childhood that all other children of his age had, instead they pressured him and turned their backs on him at the slightest bit of gossip.
It also didn't help that his so called "best friends" were people that the Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry bribed into befriending to make sure that his weapon in the war (Harry) had a mind of his own. His every step as soon as he stepped onto Platform 9 ¾ for the first time.
…...
This is a story of how Harry broke free from those people manipulating him and became his own person, free to chose his own path and make his own mistakes.
Soooo, how was that preface? plz comment to me?
In the house 4 Pervy Dr., in the cupboard under the stairs, on the sorry excuse for a mattress layed the savior-of-the-wizarding-world, Harry Potter. Just one glance and it could be told that he had suffered abuse
