When I failed to achieve what I should have in the end…
I glanced at the people who witnessed my defeat…
And I saw you among them, your eyes filled with hope and excitement just moments before…
Your eyes, which always seemed to twinkle with joy…
Your eyes, which haunt me every single night as I sleep…
They gazed into my own with sadness and disappointment…
Sadness and disappointment I knew I had caused…
That day, I vowed… To someday claim victory for my own… And yours…
