A Beautiful Disaster

She prays one day she'll find someone to need her

The whole glee club was there. All somehow getting along with each other. walks in and sets down a stack of papers on the piano. He then walks over to the board and writes the word LIFE. He says "Life sucks. Life makes you happy, mad, and sad. I want you to come up with a song describing your life. What you're feeling right now. I want these presented by Thursday." Rachel is sitting alone thinking of all the songs she could sing.

Skip to Thursday:

Rachel walks in the room with a sheet music. She says ", I have my song." And he says "Go Ahead Rachel." She walks over to the middle of the room with the whole class looking at her and starts singing.

She loves her mama's lemonade,
Hates the sound that goodbyes make.
She prays one day she'll find someone to need her.

She closes her eyes.

She swears that there's no difference,
between the lies and compliments.
It's all the same if everybody leaves her.

She stares straight at Finn when she sings this line.

And every magazine tells her she's not good enough,
the pictures that she's seen make her cry.

She starts to tear up.

She just looks straight ahead.

She's giving boys what they want, tries to act so nonchalant,
afraid they'll see that she's lost her direction.
She never stays the same for long,
Assuming that she'll get it wrong.
Perfect only in her imperfections.

She tries not to cry but something overwhelms her.

She's not a drama queen,
She doesn't want to feel this way, only seventeen, but tired

"Not a drama queen?" Pshh, yeah Right." Kurt says. Mercedes agrees with him.

"WOULD EVERYONE SHUT UP? Leave her alone, I'm tired of you guys picking on her." A low voice comes from the back of the room.

Everyone turns, Rachel looks up and smiles. Puck sits there furious.
"You all need help. You can see she is a great singer, amazing friend trying to be there for everybody and all you do is nag nag nag. Leave the poor girl ALONE! Come on Rach, Lets Go." He leaves.

Rachel follows him. She stops him and says "Why did you do that?"
Puck looks at her and leans in an kisses her like there is no tomorrow.
