Percy's POV
I walked outside to see my three year old sister sitting on the green grass. "Hey those are my toys!" I yelled out to her, although i was five i still loved my toys. I had nothing better to while I waited for Camp to begin. "But I play your toys." My sister Astrid-Grace said. When she first started talking, it was in Greek, she had to learn to speak English, I was the opposite. That's why her English isn't good.
"Fine then, you can play with my toys." I gave in to her.
She gave me a small smile, she was never a very affectionate person. Her eyes were shifting uncontrollably, every single shade of blue and shades of green. She couldn't control hers, but I could, I can make mine shift colours when I wanted them too.
"Percy, look after Astrid, just until Annabeth gets here." My mother Sally said.
"Yes μαμά." (mum) I answered.
I could see Annabeth making her way down to our house. We waved at each other. My mother had just stepped outside, when a hooded figure emerged out of no where. The hooded man picked up Astrid, she began crying, making it pour down with rain. I could see Annabeth run towards, as fast as she could go. I pulled out Riptide and charged towards the man, but as I got there, He vanished, my sister in his grasp.
When Annabeth reached me, she was soaking wet, from my sister crying, but I was dry. She engulfed me into a hug.
"Percy, Percy wake up." Annabeth said.
I woke up.
Annabeth's POV
I woke up to the sound of hooves, clacking on the wooden floor. Grover. I knew what it was for instantly. "It's Percy." Was all Grover said. Ever since Percy's sister was killed, he had these dreams every year around her birthday. It was on her birthday she was taken. When demigods have dreams, they usually mean something, but we couldn't figure out what it meant. Neither could Chiron. I got up and made my way over to Percy's cabin. He was sweating and tossing and turning.
"Percy, Percy wake up." Annabeth said.
He woke up.
No ones POV
Percy woke up panting. "Annabeth?" He asked. She hugged him.
"Percy, calm down." Annabeth said
"Astrid..." Percy was talking quietly, "Annabeth, these dreams need to mean something. They happen every year since she was taken. Maybe she's alive?"
"That's not possible, her body was left here for the camp to see." Annabeth flinched at her own words.
Annabeth's POV Flashback
Percy and I made our way back to Camp Half-Blood to ask the others to help search for Astrid. When we got there, all the demigods, the Gods and Chiron were standing, crowding around something, or someone. Percy's father, Poseidon was standing off to the side, clearly upset with whatever everyone was looking at. People turned and noticed we were there, some coming up to us warning us not to go look.
"We should go check it out, Wise Girl," Percy said to me.
"Good idea, Seaweed Brain." I said back.
We slowly walked up to the crowd. They started backing away.
That's when we saw it. A girl with black hair hair like Percy's, with her eyes still open, they were the same colour as Percy's as well.
It was Astrid-Grace. Percy immediately fell to his knees, holding his three year old sister in his arms. "No...No...No...Astrid wake up." Percy said. "ASTRID-GRACE JACKSON WAKE UP!" He yelled. I felt bad for him, his sister is dead. It was a lot for five year olds to handle, but we were all the same age and smarter than the average human.
He closed her eyes.
"Αντίο, αγαπητή αδερφή μου. Μπορείτε να ζήσετε ειρηνικά." (Goodbye my dear sister, may you live peacefully) Those were the last words he said to his sister.
