E/O Challenge: The challenge for this drabble is to include Shakespeare in the drabble. I'm inspired by Macbeth, and the following quote jumped out at me. Depending on how you read it, there may be a MAJOR character death

Additional note: there was a request from a fellow author to find out how all of our pen names came to be. Mine actually came from my avatar. I found it online about 12 years ago, and it was labeled "fallen angel" by the creator.

Spoiler Alert for the season 8 finale, "Sacrifice."

"Angels are bright still, though the brightest fell.
Though all things foul would wear the brows of grace,
Yet Grace must still look so."
William Shakespeare, Macbeth

It was a frozen moment in time. He wasn't sure what to do, how to act on what he was seeing. He dropped to his knees, holding an unconscious Sam in his arms, as they fell around him in brilliant streaks of light. Anyone else watching would think it were a meteor shower.

"Damn it, Sam, wake up," he said in frustration as he wiped his brother's forehead with his handkerchief. He slid down into a sitting position, propping Sam up between his legs as he leaned his back against the side of the Impala. It was at that moment he realized that Sam wasn't going to wake up.

He watched the falling angels with tears in his eyes, wondering how he was going to fix what he'd broken.
