Bella's POV

This week we were going to visit Renee. We as in Edward an I. Alone. Charlie wasn't too fond on the idea, but I mean come on when has he been fond of anything to do with Edward. Anyways right know I'm preparing supper for Charlie and me, steak and potatoes. I was also mostly trying to occupy my time before Edward would come visit me which wouldn't be until another hour. I was just putting the potatoes in the oven when the phone rang. I ran and answered the phone to be greeted by a shrieking voice. Of course my mom.

"Bella! Guess what? I'm so excited for you guys to come I have planned our whole weekend!" She practically screamed through the phone.

"Mom, what did you plan?" I said calmly. With her I've learned to ignore her excitement and keep calm and carry on.

'"Well Bella I have planned for us to go shopping, boating, oh and also we are making a visit to your old school. I first groaned at the thought of shopping but when she said school I completely froze.

"Mom…you…what…how? Why are we visiting my old school?"

"Well I was talking to the principal over at the grocery store the other day and she said it would be wonderful to see you again and for you to see your old friends again." To tell you the truth I never really had close friends back at Phoenix….Wait what! My mom lived in Jacksonville how did she see my old principal?

"Mom! How did you see my old principal? You live in Jacksonville not Phoenix!"

"Bella, I was waiting for you to realize that. Believe it or not Phil has away game in Phoenix and we have rented out our old house for our stay there."

"Mom why did you rent out our old house? We could have just stayed in a hotel."

"But that wouldn't be homely. I wanted to make you guys comfortable."

"Ok well that's….. Great. I should probably get going mom I have to continue supper."

"Ok...well love you honey! And can't wait to see you in Phoenix" I suddenly remembered something.

"Wait! Mom!" But she had already hung up. I remembered that the tickets Carlisle and Esme gave us were for Jacksonville, Not Phoenix. I will have to call my mom later but know I had to start cooking the steaks.

When Charlie got home supper was ready. We sat down and I broke the usual awkward silence with me telling him about Renee's plans and about the plane tickets. He replied back gruffly:

"Bells...I knew about this with Carlisle and Esme they traded the tickets back for ones to Phoniex."

"And you didn't tell me?"

"It was supposed to be a surprise,"

"Well mom is not good at keeping secrets."

"I thought you would know that." After I conversation ended I picked up the dishes and washed them off and went up to my bedroom to see Edward waiting in my rocking chair. I went to him slowly and sat on his lap.

"What are you doing here so early you usually wait until Charlie is sleeping." I asked.

"Well I came to see if you would forgive me."

"For what?"

"For the whole switching tickets over thing."

"You knew about that? And you didn't tell me?"

"No because it was supposed to be a surprise. Please take my apologies love."

"Well I guess I could forgive you as long as you give me one thing."

"And what's that?"

"A kiss."
