Until I get over you
Gabriella was sitting on her bed sobbing. In her hand a picture frame. It knocked at the door. „Go away!!", Gabriella screamed. „Gabriella, honey, you gotta come out.It's been months", said Gabriellas mom through the door. „You don't understand!!", Gabriella sobbed as she held a pillow over her head. „Please Gabbi", came the voice from Gabriellas best friend , Taylors through the door. „NOOOO", Gabriella screamed once again. Mrs.Montez and Taylor looked one more time at the door before going downstairs, seeing there was no way that Gabriella was opening her door anytime soon. Gabriella waited untill she heard them go downstaires and oened her balcony door. „Hey", she greeted a young boy standing there softly. „Hey" answered the boy as he took her into his arms. „ Your mom and Taylor are annoying you again, I see", the boy said. „Yeah", Gabriella yawened. „You're tired?", asked the boy Gabriella. „ A little", Gabriella smiled softly. „Well you should be sleeping by now" the boy said and showed her the sparkling stars and the moon that were shining bright at the dark sky. „No, it's better staying awake with you", Gabriella explained, as she snuggled more into the boy. The boy didn't say nothing. He lifted Gabriellas chin and kissed her softly.
„I think you should let me go", said the boy as he broke the kiss. „What??", Gabriella asked confused. „Brie, you know exactly what I mean. Your mom is right. It's been months, we can't continue this way", the boy said. „No Troy, I won't let you go, I love you", Gabriella explained and held him more forcefully. Troy pushed her away, but still holding onto her hands,"I love you too, but you have to let me go. You have to move on!", Troy said louder as before but still calm. „No", Gabriella shook her head," You have to stay with me forever. You promised, remember??"
„ I died 4 months ago, Gabbi. I'm dead", Troy screamed at her. Once again Gabriella shook her head. „No you're not. You're alive. You promised. You can't die", Gabriella screamed back at him trying to get out of his hands. „I already died !!", Troy exclaimed. „No, you aren't dead. No. You wanted to stay with me forever. FOREVER TROY!! You promised", Gabriella whispered the last part.
„And I will hold my promise. I'll stay with you forever, but in another way. I love you and nothing can change that. But you have to move on, you have to be happy again", Troy whispered, as he hugged the sobbing Gabriella. „ I want you back", Gabriella said over and over again. „I know", Troy whispered caresing her hair. Both of them hold onto each other for what seemed like a lifetime, but at the end was still to short. „I love you", Troy said to Gabriella as he looked into her puffy eyes. „I love you too", Gabriella said.And even knowing it would be the last time she would hold him this way, she was happier than she could ever be.
