Summary: Spock's thoughts as he comes home for shore-leave after reconciling with his father, Sarek.
O
How agreeable to feel the breezes,
Of a cool spring night,
Or experiencing the quietude of sunrise,
On L-Langon's hight,
To meditate at a placid lake,
While sitting on the shore,
And feel Vulcans' peace come over me,
When I see the Teresh-kas soar.
I do rejoice in living,
In spending time at home,
After years of serving Starfleet,
No matter where I've roamed.
There is a strong satisfaction,
That touches everything,
Being reconciled with father,
Causing mother's heart to sing.
