A few days before starting the winter, the temperature was already falling and was mild. Simon was going to the square of the condominium, your good and old habit of going there. And it was not for nothing, it was a nice and fragrant place. He went alone, but the common was going with Jeanette. This time is going alone to reflect and then had a surprise.
"I do not believe!" He thought. "How is it possible ?"
He had found a rare little plant, whose flower was purple, and it was the most perfect flower. It had a problem. Winter was next, and this plant was very weak and could die. There was only one way to keep her alive, it was to go every day in the square and take care of her. So did Simon with his genius made a small greenhouse around the plant, to keep her warm. During the winter, he was there to take care of her without anyone knowing.
"I'll take care of it so that Jean can see." He thought of his beloved while walking.
The days passed and winter was finally over. And how nice it was that winter that just joined the trés couples on one of the coldest nights (remember Love in winter). In early spring, the flower of the plant would open. So Simon took his girlfriend to finally see. Jean was in the room reading Harry Potter 7.
"Jean!" Simon calls .
"Simon!" She responds happily.
"Here at the door , come here." He calls . "Did… I… I… interrupt something?" He blushed .
"No, of course not," She smiled .
"I ... I ... I want to show you something there in the square ," He said nervously .
On the way ...
"The winter was good… wasn't it" Simon says.
"Of course it was ! " Jeanette smiled " Alvin and Brittany finally got together , Theo and Ellie too. And us... " At this, she grabs the paw of Simon .
" True, it was the best! " Simon looks at her .
"Why did you come here every day during the winter?" she apergutnShe asked curious still holding hands with him. Simon shows a small violet flower on the side of a bank (to sit).
"No way!" She was surprised. "It ... is ... that flower you had spoken..."
"That's right, that flower. I found her here before starting the winter " Simon says softly . Jeanette puts his hands in her mouth plugging .
"And you came here to take care of it..." She could not hold back the tears. "Just to show me..." She hugged him, .he put his paws on her waist and she on his neck
"You... can say yes ... it is just a flower" He replies a little nervous. Jeanette kisses him passionately .
"It was much more than a simple flower, Simon " She looks deep into his blue eyes . "For everything you've done for me."
"I just wanted to see you happy..." He said softly .
"And you did it! " Jeanette hugs him
They stayed there a while enjoying the moment together . In fact it was only a flower , but dedication and effort to keep her alive were much higher and that's what made her great . It was a simple but sincere.
