Ziva David and Tony DiNozzo have been dating for a year, and they couldn't be any more in love or happy. They were finally living together in Tony's apartment. They kept their relationship out of the office. No one besides themselves knew about them being together, surprisingly not even Gibbs.
Tomorrow would be Valentine's Day, and Tony and Ziva wanted to do something special for each other. Tony had already called Luigi's , Ziva's favorite Italian restaurant and reserved a table. Tony told Ziva that he was going to pick up some takeout and left. He went to Kay's first and bought a 14k white gold engagement. Tony didn't care about how expensive it was. Nothing was too good for his Ziva. Tony quickly drove to get the takeout. When he got into their apartment he heard Ziva in the shower so he put the takeout on the counter. He quickly stashed the ring in one of the suit pockets he was going to wear the next day. Tony walked into the bathroom and joined Ziva in the shower.
"Hey sweet cheeks! Miss me? " Tony said as he put his arms around Ziva from behind.
"Hey handsome! I did miss you very much, I am starving." Ziva replied.
"Well lets fix that problem now." Tony said eagerly as he leaned in to kiss Ziva on the lips. They kissed for a couple minutes before Ziva reluctantly pulled back.
"I am not that kind of hungry Tony, take your shower quickly so we can eat, then maybe I will be that kind of hungry." Ziva said as she stepped out of the shower and quickly dressed in undergarments and put a robe on over that.
Not long after Tony came out in a pair of boxers and they quickly ate. Then they watched a movie curled up together on the couch. When the movie was over Tony noticed a light snoring sound beside him and looked to see Ziva asleep.
"So much for her being that kind of hungry" Tony muttered as he took Ziva into his arms and carried her to their bed. After he had them both settled under the covers, Ziva snuggled up against his side. Tony put his arm around her waist and held her close. He listened to her peaceful breathing and was lulled to sleep by it.
